My inspiration in each item usually comes from what I have in stock at the moment. As I was building The Block Party Collection for the BET Experience Phreedom Fashion Show Event I was honored to be a part of in June, a friend of mine had a bunch of t-shirts they were about to donate and asked if I would be interested. It’s very rare for me to come up with piles of the same shirt, and nor was I expecting it to be all the same colors. Two tones later, and some pop of color from when I got bored of repetitive action, The Off White Not Basic T-shirt was formed. I also started working with Kommon Thread, a screen printing company in Fullerton, and they helped me brand these babies into new levels. I love how crisp and clean they turned out!
